Our friend, Clona, singing like an angel! She has the most amazing voice and a heart of gold!
Here we are serving Christmas dinner! We made corn chowder and had to serve it over rice to make it go farther! We bought everyone buns too...the kids were pumped to have seconds!
This is the sweetest 6 year old we know! Her name is Yulnide. Her mom, Yoline is here and has had a life you couldn't believe! She was sold into slavery at about 6years old and became pregnant at 12. To make a long story short she ended up here and has been here since this little girl was not very old. You wouldn't know they are mother/daughter as Yoline doesn't seem to want to have a lot to do with her past or motherhood. They are both kids here and are finding thier way in the scheme of things with the help of people here who love them and hope in a God who cares about them.
This is Carter. He is three and a real bundle of energy! I think he's the littlest dude around the place. He likes to fall asleep on our laps and do sommersaults over Melissas shoulder when she's sitting down.
